Absurdity Observer – February 2024
- Toronto frontline ER doctor Dr. Mark Trozzi has his medical license revoked by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario for spreading “misinformation” about COVID-19 and criticizing CPSO Policy. The Tribunal declared that Dr. Trozzi had caused harm by spreading misinformation, even though expert witnesses for the College failed to tender evidence that Dr. Trozzi’s statements had caused harm to a patient or any member of the public.
- Montreal doctor suspended by the Quebec College of Physicians after refusing to abide by the patient’s preferred pronouns. The patient, who identified as a “trans male,” recorded an appointment asking for a testosterone prescription and to be referred to by he/him pronouns. Despite the patient reminding him, the doctor continually addressed the patient using female pronouns, stating that she is “biologically a woman,” and that prescribed testosterone can have harmful side effects. The college determined the doctor had acted in an “inappropriate and disrespectful manner.” It added that it was the “doctor’s obligation” to establish a relationship of trust with his patient, which includes respecting their gender identity.
- A Scotland police investigation into avoidable deaths during the Covid-19 pandemic could turn the case into the “biggest corporate homicide in history,” according to a whistleblower from the NHS. This claim centers around what is being referred to as “the death protocol,” where treatment guidelines for severely ill COVID-19 patients were allegedly akin to end-of-life care typically reserved for terminal conditions. There’s a growing belief that the employment of certain sedative drugs contributed to numerous unnecessary COVID-19 deaths. Additionally, the controversial practice of transferring sick elderly hospital patients to care homes, combined with the extensive implementation of “Do Not Resuscitate” orders reportedly influenced by political decisions, is now being scrutinized as potentially criminal.

- Dr. Anthony Fauci admits that the “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation promoted by federal health officials was likely not based on any data. “It just sort of appeared.” That was just one of several stunning admissions the former NIAID director said in his testimony to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic on Capitol Hill last month. Dr. Fauci also shockingly acknowledged that the lab-leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory. This comes nearly four years after prompting the publication of the now infamous “Proximal Origin” paper that attempted to vilify and disprove the lab-leak hypothesis.
- An investigation by Public published January 23rd revealed the FBI received credible intelligence in March 2020 that COVID-19 had leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology—long before the FBI or the US government acknowledged a possible lab leak.
- Canada’s Federal Court is amending its guidelines to ask for pronouns to be provided by those dealing with the court. The court also asked for “gender neutrality in addressing a Member of the Court.”
- The World Health Organization (WHO) is now recommending educators teach children aged 0-4 years “early childhood masturbation” and that they can experience “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body.” Their recommendation is outlined in their curriculum framework “Standards for Sexuality Education in Europe—a framework for policymakers, educational and health authorities and specialists.” This is not the first time the idea of teaching masturbation to preschool and kindergarten-aged children has been introduced in Europe. Last summer, the Rutgers Foundation, a charity funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, advocated for a sex education curriculum that encouraged children to be educated on sex from birth. As part of their campaign, an educational video was released where children as young as 4 were questioned about feelings elicited by touching their “willies” and “buttons.” Moreover, the campaign’s suggested reading included a book for 6-year-olds with instructions on how to give oral sex.
- America’s biggest owner of farmland, Bill Gates, set up at least 20 shell companies to hide the purchase of $113 million of Nebraska farmland. As unearthed by Nebraska-Lincoln College and reported by The Flatwater Free Press, the limited liability companies were buried under layers of business names, with overlapping employees and addresses in at least three states. As of 2023, Gates owns 269,000 acres of farmland—more than the entire acreage of New York City.
- Bill Gates says Africans need genetically modified seeds and chickens to fight “climate change.” In Gates’ recent address at the Africa Climate Summit, he promoted his genetically modified “drought-tolerant” seeds and “properly vaccinated,” “heat-tolerant” chickens as a way to “fight poverty” and “fight climate change.”
- An analysis by The Canadian Press identified 17 environmental charities whose top executive drew annual compensation over $200,000, according to filings with the federal government made in 2022 and 2023.
- A study that gave the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to pregnant rats indicates that the vaccine may have the potential to cause autism in unborn babies. The study (Mumin Alper Erdogan et al.) concluded that the Pfizer vaccine “significantly alters WNT gene expression and BDNF levels in both male and female rats, suggesting a profound impact on key neurodevelopmental pathways…. The COVID-19 mRNA vaccine seems to induce autism-like behaviors in male rats.”
- 70% of embalmers report finding strange blood clots beginning in mid-2021. The survey, created by former Air Force Major Thomas Haviland, was circulated by various funeral director associations throughout the world. Embalmers reported sharp upticks in fibrous clots, micro-clotting, and infant deaths from mid-2021 following the mass rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.
- An “elite” and influential group of obesity specialists over the last decade pocketed at least $25.8 million in payments from Novo Nordisk (maker of weight loss drugs Wegovy, Saxenda, and Ozempic) in exchange for promoting their weight-loss drugs in their lectures, treatment guidelines, clinics and medical societies, according to an investigation by Reuters.
- After years of Bayer Monsanto consistently defending its product, citing approval from Health Canada as evidence of its safety, a new paper from the NIH reports indications of DNA damage among men applying Roundup and other glyphosate-based herbicides. The article (Vicky C. Chang et al.) found links between lifetime occupational use and a marker of DNA damage known as mLOY that is associated with blood cancers such as lymphoma. Particularly compelling is that the authors observed a dose-response relationship, with higher odds of mLOY as total lifetime days of glyphosate use increased.
- A shocked and appalled Vancouver electric-car owner went viral after a seemingly minor damage to his car’s battery required a replacement battery and was quoted a $60,000 repair bill—more than the list price for a new car of the same make and model.
- Beijing University of Chemical Technology scientists have created a COVID strain that’s 100% lethal in “humanized” mice—killing the mice within eight days.
