The children! My heart calls out every day on their behalf. Although I’ve never had the privilege of being a parent, I know that every child matters; they’re our future. I’m concerned about the steady assault on the innocence of children in the school system with SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity). Meanwhile, the integrity of the family structure is being attacked by undermining the children’s trust in their parents.

Remember in the spring of 2020, how it all started with mass fear, suspicion, and division? Government, federally, provincially, and locally elected and unelected officials prioritized “being safe.” They went after the seniors and small businesses, and suddenly, you’re deemed non-essential. The mad rush for toilet paper! Can you imagine what will happen when we have the inevitable collapse?

Even when unelected health officials said children were not at risk of Covid, they burdened them with the suggestion that they might kill their grandparents by being near them. Forget hugs! Playgrounds were deemed unsafe and ribboned off. After they rushed the approval for injections of children, soon we saw billboards on local buses announcing it’s normal for children to have strokes and heart attacks. (“Trust the Science”? Blank labels, zero liability, autism.)

And now, almost four years of Covid is apparently not enough. The damage done to the children is unthinkable with the educational labour disruptions, isolation, and attempts at remote learning. Imagine teachers being directed to tell students not to talk to their friends at lunch or recess. I can’t bear to see a child needlessly masked and constantly living in fear. There appears to be a lull, however, it’s not ending anytime soon!

In Ontario schools, the sexualization, indoctrination, and bullying of our children has been going on for years since before the Kathleen Wynne government’s new sex ed curriculum was introduced in 2015. More recently, school board members have been turning off the microphone at board meetings when parents are speaking out with alarm about inappropriate and suggestive content in elementary school library books. Material that would have a caution for adult reading! Parents and grandparents are being shut out from volunteering at their children’s schools where children are celebrated for choosing to identify as one of 27 gender options and encouraged to keep their choice of pronouns secret from their parents. The SOGI agenda (exposingsogi123.com) introduces a whole new element of peer pressure that is more dangerous than experimenting with smoking, drugs, or alcohol. Gender mutilation is non-reversible and results in sterilization and life-time dependency on pharmaceutical drugs. They want every child fully indoctrinated for life so they will fully comply for life.

We had to do something. In the summer of 2023, we created an actionable plan with our grassroots boots-on-the-ground initiative of a physical petition that even some teachers have signed. Everyone over 18 in Ontario can get involved. All we need is a legible name and town of residence.

Our petition has the potential to set an incredible precedent by increasing public awareness and liberating the children. We also want to redirect our tax dollars to support the growing number of private, home, and church learning pods that emerged during school labour disruptions. These pods provide a small group environment for students learning practical skills and basic math, English, and language education through creative activities and time in nature. Many parents are open to alternatives to the education system that is sexualizing, indoctrinating, and bullying their kids. Talk to your neighbours. We are having thousands of conversations about the issues and hear that parents and other adults want to somehow express their concerns for the children’s well-being.

In mid-February 2024, we will hand deliver more than 10,000 signatures to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario at Queens Park in Toronto, so please aim to have the pages of signatures sent to Rob by February 1. Can we count on your involvement in gathering even 10 signatures? The Ontario Conservative Party has previously tabled such a motion. We have the support of several MPPs (Members of Provincial Parliament), and one is ready to bring forth the message of our petition.

I hope that your heart feels the same urgency as mine and that you’ll get involved. What kind of a world would it be if the children didn’t have a future? Today is the line in the sand. Every child deserves a beautiful future.
